Australians were scammed for more than $340 million in 2017. The best way to combat scams is by educating the public on what to look out for, and assist people when they aren't sure if they're being scammed.
Scammy bot is an intelligent bot being trained to communicate with members of the public and identify all sorts of scams. Scammy also integrates with your browser to protect users from digital scams as they browse the web.
Use the Chrome extension
Scammy is also a Chrome extension that alerts users when they visit suspicious pages that may harm users, for example, shown on the right is a scam email that links users to a web page trying to impersonate PayPal.
